That was always my assumption. But, because she wasn't "out" on the show, there

I must live a more sheltered life than I thought. If she had lasted longer in the game she probably would have revealed it to the others. She might have told Sean but since neither lasted long the producers might have decide it wasn't worth mentioning.

I like to think that, after 44 seasons, making a big deal about a player's sexuality is no longer necessary. Although Sean was clearly a gay man,
some viewers may not have been aware of it until his final moments in the game. Up until that point, the only things he had said about his life, on
camera, were that he was a brought up in a conservative Mormon family, that he was a high school principal, and that he felt he had wasted a lot of
time pretending to be someone that he wasn't. Surely he would have talked in more depth about these matters with his tribe mates, but such
conversations were not included in his edit. I view this decision by the editors as being a positive thing.

Players' sexuality is no big deal to me but sometimes I am surprised to find out what their sexual orientation actually is. For example, if we were to find out later that Kaleb is gay I'd be shocked and I'm pretty sure so would a lot of other fans.

Concerning Sean, what shocked me about him is that he's a school principal. He seems too young to be a principal.
