The Next Step (YouTube) - Ep's #7.15-7.18.
YouTube had been queuing up the next episode for me automatically,
but starting yesterday, it has stopped doing that. No idea why. Now I
have to manually search for the next episode. :|
Ep. #7.15 did something tricksy - they used Richelle explicitly for
a comedy bit, and it actually works surprisingly well. After getting
fired as the "face" of their dance league, Richelle is depressed - so
depressed she just lies on the studio floor! They have to rehearse
around her!! In the end, the guys make Richelle a "bro"! I haven't
liked many season #7 ep's, but this one I kid of liked.
A good chunk of these episodes was taken up with
Piper/Finn/Amy/Henry drama - Piper confesses about the kiss to Amy, who
is outraged. But Amy realizes that she really didn't care about Finn,
and actually still likes Henry. So Piper and Finn get together,
basically with Amy's blessing, and Amy gets together with Henry.
Ep. #7.17 is another attempt at a "humor" episode, but this one
really didn't work for me - more and more people invite themselves
along on Henry's and Amy's first date.
However, Michelle turns up at the very end of this one.
In the next one, ep. #7.18, Michelle wants Emily to check a contract
and negotiate for her. I like how Emily dscribes The Next Step as "a
soap" since Michelle has been gone, and then amusingly claims it was
never like that before! Anyway, Emily misses Michelle. Michelle wants
Emily to manage a dance tour for her, but Emily is not ready to leave
The Next Step (yet).
Meanwhile, Nick does a bad job of managing the place in Emily's
absence, and ignores B-Troupe, who demand Nick's attention.

soaps: GH - Wed's ep. Olivia's autistic kid goes missing - Ned saves
the day. Sasha goes into labor, and she and Gladys are rescued from
Esme's trap by Brando, though Gladys thinks Brook Lynn did it. Willow
runs across Nina with Wiley, and can't get out of Nina and Wiley
visiting - then Bitchface Carly spies them.

The Flash (recorded) - "Armageddon, Part 1" (ep. #8.1). Anim did a
pretty darn god job synopsizing this in yesterday's WDYW? thread. I
agree with him that this seemed liked a step up from the awfulness that
was season #7, with the exception of the woke idiocy with Allegra
(though I also agree that they may have been poking fun at that in a
backhanded way). P.S. If anyone was wondering, like I was, the villain
named "Ten" was played by Megan Peta Hill.

Recorded for later: Another epie of "Intergalactic".

Ah, now I know why: the last 6 episodes of season #7 are unavilable -
apparently TNS's production co. blocked the YouTube channel I've been
using from showing the last 6 episodes of season #7. (And TV Aura has
nearly all of their episdoes blocked as well.)

I guess I'm done with "The Next Step"! as of yesterday!

Would using a VPN allow you to access the episodes?

I watched:

Chucky - Episode 6 starts off with a man and a woman driving up to a
house and introducing themselves as census takers. The woman asks
standard how many in the house questions, but the man's questions are
darker and weird, focusing on if the family has experienced any strange
occurrences, and even weirder, if the family has any dolls in the house.
Turns out there is a doll in the house and when the young daughter
gets it to show off, the doll momentarily forgets its' own name.
Realizing its' been caught, the Chucky doll pulls out a knife and
threatens to kill the little girl, the the two "census" takers turn out
to be "Andy" and "Kyle" from the first two "Child's Play" movies (played
by the original actors of course!) and they are ready for Chucky. They
pull out a pair of guns and leave the doll in a pull of its' own blood.
Roll opening credits.

Picking up where last episode ended Jake, Devon, and Lexy realize Chucky
is still alive and coming after them (remember, Chucky has split his
soul into multiple dolls and one person). They also learn the hard way
that Chucky is systematically murdering their parents. Or at least
that's what he's planning to do. So they reach out to someone who will
believe there's a killer doll after them, and be in a position to help,
Andy. Meanwhile thanks to watching "Cape Fear" (which is heavily
featured in this episode) the kids come up with a plan to take down
Chucky once and for all. This was a pretty good one. Only two episodes
left.

Clemency (Netflix rental) 2019 drama starring Alfre Woodard as a prison
warden who when the movie starts oversees a botched execution. The rest
of the movie focuses on her seeing another execution, of a man (Aldis
Hodge) who claims he is innocent, and the effect the pending execution
has on her and the people around her. I guess it was OK.

Nope - they appear to have been blocked from YouTube's end for
copyright vio (TV Aura), or were never uploaded after getting a warning
about it (my regular TNS YouTube channel).

I was able to piece together what happened from "The Next Step" wikia.
I honestly don't feel like I missed much (though I did want to see the
rest of Emily's and Richelle's character arcs) - if I'm rating seasons,
I am definitely rating season #7 as the weakest. And I'm definitely
glad there was no season #8 after this.

If they ever pick this up again, they should focus on the original cast
(+ Amanda) somehow, maybe having them completely take over the studio
to run it.

I’d have more confidence in that theory if she hadn’t prevailed.

I did some reading on that and may owe it an apology. The name may actually
not be incorrect.

True. But the way they set up Lindy Booth's little speech, I'm almost
sure that there's no way we weren't supposed to agree with her, and
think Allegra was been a tiny little girl.

Hey, thanks for asking!

It was Sidney Green St., Wednesday (OK I’m gonna leave that in because it
was amusing, thank you auto correct) on TCM so I recorded three films and
watched THE VERDICT (1946).
In 1890, a Scotland yard detective sends an innocent man to the gallows.
The guy in line for his job is very happy about this. So Green Street gets
fired and then murder most foul occurs across the street where Peter Lorre
lives.
The solution is extremely perverse.

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE S04E18 “Gitano“
An incredibly confusing episode with Barry Williams from the Brady Bunch as
a 12 year old prince the team is trying to keep from getting assassinated.
Leonard Nimoy as the great Paris dress is Williams up as a gypsy girl and
they put lipstick on him and generally humiliate him in an episode that
seems designed simply to humiliate Barry Williams!

THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN
I tried to watch and recap “the lost island part two” but it was so awful
it became physically painful. So I paused it for the nonce and went on to
S05E17 “the Madonna Caper”
Another complete crap episode overseen by Little Freddie Freiberger.
There’s this painting in the museum that can’t be stolen by any possible
means because of the security set up so they have Steve steal it by
ignoring several parts of the security set up that they so painstakingly
laid out for us. Then of course wackiness ensues and he has to put it
back.
How stupid is this episode? An art restore hid a microdot in the
painting and when the expert shows up to look at the painting he’ll be able
to tail. Except the microdot is under the matte, not in the painting.
Idiots.
Today they started running them from the beginning although they apparently
re-purposed the pilot into a flashback episode. Rudy Wells reminisces. I
have no idea which of the three Rudy wells it will be!

SEA PATROL finishing out season four.

That’s my only guess, yes, but there were a lot of people in there that I
had no idea who they were.

Hell, I can’t even tell Joe’s wife and Barry‘s future daughter apart. Which
would be really clever casting if they were blood relatives but they ain’t.

So since the apparently incompetent cop shut down the meta squad (because
somehow it wasn’t diverse enough and who happens to be a meta herself) what
is she going to do with the 4 metas Barry just caught? Surely if you can’t
have specially trained cops chase people you can’t put them in special
cells either. I assume she’s going to get rid of the homicide squad next.
No special treatment for special criminals!

I forgot to mention that I also (re-)watched a good chunk of the recent

OK, well, now I know, and that was something of a mind-boggler.

They took the original TV movie, CYBORG, a.k.a. THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN,
And re-purposed it into a two hour flashback episode that takes place three
years after the original movie. It carries the series open for the third
Dr. Rudy Wells but it’s narrated by the original Dr. Rudy Wells who is only
in the original pilot movie but it also includes footage of the third Dr.
Rudy Wells in the operating room!
In short this is out of continuity with the original movie, the books, and
the series. In the syndication package it’s considered episodes one and two
but that doesn’t make any sense since it should be in season three or four!
It carries the episode title THE MOON AND THE DESERT but IMDb doesn’t know
about that at all.
They make the point a couple times that Steve is civilian, not military.
None of this “Colonel Austin“ business.
Steve did three moon missions, solo in a three-man Apollo capsule!
His main nurse and lovey-dovey smoochy pal Is a different character than
his main nurse and lovey-dovey smoochy pal in the episode THE SEVEN MILLION
DOLLAR MAN.
It has some fun cameos like George Wallace as the General, Robert
Cornwaithe as a doctor and Ramadas Pera as a rescue victim. Starring
Kolchak the night stalker with music by the composer of Kolchak the night
stalker! And Barbara Anderson of Star Trek and Ironside as his main nurse
and lovey-dovey smoochy pal.
