Some of us had no option, we contracted the virus, even with continuous masking and severe isolation, prior to distribution of the vaccine. I guess we were just lucky.

would have gotten vaccinated, your exposure risk would have
been signficantly less and you wouldn't have gotten ill.

(THis, of course, is referring to the time after the
vaccines were available).

some seriously, and some didn't make it.
