TV shows evolve, just like life.

Quite a bit of Doctor Who has been revised over the years, long before
Chris Chibnall took over. If you had been paying attention instead of
spamming Usenet all day, every day, you might have noticed. I'm not really

Actually David, it backs up what we saw in 'The Brain of Morbius'. The
fact that YOU (and some others) can't accept what the Producers intended
and like to twist and turn to justify your own interpretation because of a
blinkered attitude is your own choice. But don't believe that your
opinions equal facts.

That worked for me... but what about if Chibnall had written that
Gallifrey never existed in the first place. Would that have been acceptable?

un-plausible David? Any more un-plausible than an alien that can travel in

And not forgetting, of course, that regeneration was invented to
create a way to replace William Hartnel as Dr Who. It certainly
wasn't canon at the time. Once they did that, all sorts of "new"
back-story has been gradually created over many, many years. :-)

Did we ever find out what ever happened to his son or daughter,
you know, the one who was parent to his granddaughter Susan?
