When Eminem was confronted about the material in his songs, he said, “The President gets his cock sucked and I have to care what I write about?”

He forgot which country he is living in. He is not living in North Korea. He is living in America. In America, the president is not the only person that wields influence. There are many people that wield influence in America. This includes rappers with a huge following. When he writes about killing his mother or stuffing his girlfriend in the trunk of a car, that influences many people to do the wrong thing.

Many people see Eminem as creative and talented. He may very well be those things; however his message sucks. He advocates domestic violence, and many people suffer as a result.

So yes, he does need to care what he is writing about. Once again, he wields influence. And so far it has not been an influence for good.
