Here are some wrestling news items for you:

- Roman Reigns announced Saturday that he had tested positive for COVID-19. Reigns was declared out of the Universal Championship match against Brock Lesnar at Day 1.

- Raw from last week opened with RK-Bro cutting a promo. They were interrupted by Alpha Academy. It was announced that Riddle would take on Chad Gable, and Randy Orton taking on Otis. Riddle won his match with a knee and Floating Bro, and Orton gave Otis a RKO outta nowhere for the pin in his match. Reggie and Dana Brooke defeated R-Truth and Tamina when Reggie rolled up R-Truth for the pin. In the finals of the RKO-Bronament, the Street Profits defeated Rey and Dominik Mysterio. The Profits won when they gave a Super Blockbuster on Dominik. AJ Styles beat Apollo Crews with the Styles Clash.. Kevin Owens cut a promo, but he was interrupted by MVP, Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin. That set up a match between KO and Alexander, which KO won with a stunner. Dolph Ziggler defeated US champion Damian Priest by DQ; as a result, Priest retained the title. In the final segment, The Miz and Maryse renewed their wedding vows in a ceremony that was officiated by none other than Eric Bischoff. Edge then came out, and then blood came down the rafters, drenching Miz and Maryse. No Becky Lynch. In the ratings, Raw drew 1.592 million viewers.
- NXT 2.0 set the stage for tomorrow night's New Year's Evil show. Grayson Waller showed up for match, but his opponent, Dexter Lumis, was out. Odyssey Jones replaced Lumis, and Waller won with a rolling cutter. AJ Styles appeared on the Titantron and announced he would face Waller at New Year's Evil. MSK and Riddle appeared via tape, and they announced they would take on Imperium on the show. Brian Kendrick had been beaten up by Harland, and he was supposed to have had a match - but he didn't wrestle. Andre Chase took his place, and he was beaten up so badly that the referee stopped the match. Tiffany Stratton won her NXT debut, defeating Fallon Henley. North American champion Roderick Strong and cruiserweight titleholder Carmelo Hayes had a contract signing, but Malcolm Bivens taunted Trick Williams to stay in the ring. Williams was driven through the contract signing table. Solo Sakoa defeated Santos Escobar thanks to help from Xyon Quinn. Von Wagner pinned Malik Blade; after the match, Wagner continued to attack Blade, but Edris Enofe made the save.In the main event, Raquel Gonzalez and Cora Jade took on NXT Women's tag team champs Io Shirai and Kay Lee Ray. Jade rolled up KLR for the pin, but Mandy Rose taunted Gonzalez and Jade. In the ratings, NXT drew 662,000 viewers, up 71,000 from last week.
