A new "Sliders" is already in the works. It's unclear if it's a sequel,
remake, or "reboot", although reportedly Jery O'Connell and John
Rhys-Davies have been negotiating, so potentially a proper sequel.

Whether or not either of these new "Sliders" and "Quantum Leap" shows
ever make it to air remains to be seen ... if they're going to make
idiotic and/or "Politically Correct" changes, then lets hope they don't!

Is this a serious discussion or more of the hope that it will happen
one day. I seem to recall John Rhys-Davies being interested in a
reboot/remake back in 2018 so I worry that nothing will come of it.
Much like it seems may be the case with the BABYLON 5
reboot/remake/sequel that JMS has discussed.

In July 2021 the show's original creator Tracy Torme reportedly said in
an interview that a new show is actively in the works and he is
"working hard to make a relaunch happen". He says it will probably be a
mix of old and new characters, and that Jerry O'Connell, John
Rhys-Davies, and Cleavant Derricks have all been approached. One of the

It's unlikely Sabrina Lloyd would ever return anyway ... she wanted to
get out of the original show, and last we saw of her in-show she was
just a brain in a jar!

Kari Wuhrer is still active in the entertainment industry, although
most of it is voice work in animation and games.

Nope. He was one of the many celebrities who has been mis-reported as
having died at various times, but is still alive and aged 77.
