Here are some wrestling news items for you:

- The January 14 AEW Rampage opened with Adam, bay bay taking in Trent Baretta. Dr. Britt Baker, Bobby , Kyle O'Reilly, Texas Young Bucjs, Brandon Cutler, Best Friends, Kris Statlander and Wheeler Yuta fought, but in the end Cole on Ned Baretta. Shawn Spears defeated Andrew Ever. Statlander., Red Velvet and Leyla Hirsch took on Nyla Rose, Penelope r and The Bunny in a six-woman trios match, w which ended Bunny rolling up Hirsch for the win. In the main event, Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus defended the AEW World tag team titles against Dark.Order's John Silver and Alex Reynolds. Jurassic Ex hit Reynolds for the pin to reta. In the ratings, Rampage drew 526,000 viewers , down 62,000 from January 7.
- Mustafa Ali requested his release from WWE. Ali (real name Adeel Alam) was said to have ad a heated argument with Vince McMahon about a "New American" gimmick. As a result, Ali was written off TV, and last appeared at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia bco in the fall.
- The Inspiration - formerly the Iiconics - were invited to return to WWE for the Women's Royal Rumble match, but turned it down. They are on Impact Wrestling, and current Impact talent Mickie James will return for the match this Saturday.
