The killer may have been motivated to kill by watching CNN. The
violent denunciations of whites and constant drilling that life is
worthless because of the existence of whites with no other networks
willing to contradict CNN's political stance combined with the mass
acceptance by powerful people of CNN's political line may have
convinced the culprit to become a CNN "hero" and kill a white family.

This case shows that the consequences of media concentration in the
hands of a few is not just misinformation but the violent betrayal
of their viewers.
