My next filk album, "Vocals on My Six", is coming along slowly; twelve tracks are in the can, but I could use some folks' assistance to put together more. Here's what I'm hoping for:

First, does anyone have recordings of any performances, even if they're in circle, meeting these descriptions?
1. Me performing my composition "Slow Glass".
2. Me performing my composition "I Meta Song One Day, a.k.a. Idiom's Delight".
3. Me performing my composition "Humans Are Sneaky".
4. Me performing my composition "The Golem", especially if it's the original performance at Contata in 2008. (I think this one's too long and repetitive to make a good album track, but I'd like to be proven wrong.)
5. Kira and me performing Chris Conway's "Wonder" with Chris' recorded guitar accompaniment. (I'd want this to be a bonus track on the album, so the recording would need to be .WAV quality.)
6. Kira and me performing Dave Mason's "Too Much Truth, Too Much Love" with Dave Clement's recorded guitar accompaniment. (Same note as #4.)

Second, is anyone willing and able to record accompaniment tracks for these songs (I can send scratch vocals and I'm willing to compensate you for your time)?
1. Cat Faber's "Wings" (for my lyric alteration "Springs"). (Cat doesn't really want to do this herself.)
2. The trad tune "The Wild Rover" (for my lyric alteration "The Wild Plover").
3. Juanita Coulson's "Chess (Ad Astra)".
4. Beth Stevens' "By My Order".
5. Newley's and Bricusse's "Pure Imagination". (I'm recording a cover that uses the new lyrics written for Josh Groban.)

Thanks for however you can help!

Random suggestion: When asking for accompaniment tracks, it might be a
good idea to specify what keys you could use them in. (I play an
instrument that can't be capoed...)

Well way back when I make an Appalachian dulcimer for fun and even played a song at a filksing with it
it can't be capo'd but it can be restrung with different strings and tension to change the key.
minor changes just by changing string tension, for example D to A or E, etc..

in other cases, some instruments (say harmonica and most wind instruments) just come in different
keys, so you can switch by getting a different one... (not that I am very good on a harmonica, but long ago
I worked on it a bit).

If I was more in practice and had better recording gear, i'd offer to record some tracks.
If i had better recording gear I could practice to be able to record some tracks for you :)
But there are better guitarists on the list I feel that already have the recording setup.

My daughter's fiancé is a pretty good clarinet player (she stopped playing/practicing
after HS)... I could ask if he would be able to record something if someone in Boston had
a convenient recording setup and you needed a clarinet track and had music.
