Lake Mead since before John Oliver did his show on Water. Still
haven't seen that episode though it has shown up in my recommended

People put a lake in the middle of the Mojave Desert and then act
surprised when it eventually dries up. Nature doesn't put lakes there
for a reason.

Sure, and the Great Salt Lake is saltier and is lower than ever. But
didn't Lake Mead pretty much maintain an average level till lately? I
think the point is there's been less snowpack and more growth upstream
of it.

Lake Mead is a reservoir formed by the Hoover Dam on the Colorado River
in the Southwestern United States. It is located in the states of Nevada
and Arizona, 24 mi east of Las Vegas. It is the largest reservoir in the
US in terms of water capacity.
