Despite the title, this is *not* a conspiracy theory about how China
somehow caused the Supreme Court to overturn Roe vs. Wade. It's about
how people protesting the overturning of Roe vs. Wade are pointing to
China as an example of a country that is actively protecting womens'
rights to abortion and how utterly and massively wrong that argument is.

The presenter does NOT take a position for or against abortion: he
explains how China's policies since the Communists took over have been
utterly *opposed* to any real recognition of womens' control over their
own bodies.

That would be an extremely dangerous argument for an abortion
proponent to use given China's record of non-voluntary abortion both
in relation to the One Child Policy and with Tibetans and Uighurs.

Are these people REALLY so committed to "the cause" that they'd
embrace anything related to those issues?

The video includes clips of protestors who are doing exactly that so I
think the answer to your question has to be a resounding "yes". But
maybe it is only a few outliers that are using that argument; I really
don't know.
