Of all the tech locales in California, L.A. is certainly not one. Palo Alto,
Cupertino, Mountain View-- i.e., Silicon Valley-- are much more the tech scene
in California than L.A. is.

And your friend forgot to mention Austin, which is steadily draining the tech
business from Silicon Valley, one tech giant at a time.

Palo Alto isn't considered part of Silicon Valley. Sunnyvale is.
