The plots with them are just all over the place. It's like the writers have
no idea what they want the show to be.
I much prefer the stand alone nature of the episodes and they have too many
on-going plots.

Does anyone know what the heck they injected into Lahti during last
season's finale?!?!? That has completely been dropped other than now
suddenly she's all in on being evil too.

Nope. That's a perfect example of what I was talking about. I mean why
in hell would she now seem bent on doing things to hurt her own daughter and
granddaughters? Every time she and Leland are on-screen the show is
nonsensical.

Yep - Michael Emerson's character single-handledly turned me off the
show. This is an example of a show that would be much better if it was
almost entirely episodic, with no "continuing storyarc".
