lives matters destroyed the food court. They had finally made them glass in
the front of it. Nobody would ever say why.

The question is are you choosing that specific sandwich or that specific
restaurant? If I’m choosing a sandwich I’ll go with Wendy’s although I’d
prefer the triple. If I’m choosing a restaurant it’s Culver’s because they
have a fairly extensive menu.

I can't say which I would prefer not having been to most of these
places. Only ever been to Wendy's, Burgerking and McDonald's. Can't
say that I'm a huge fan of any of those burgers (I'll get chicken if
I'm going to Wendy's, nothing at Burgerking after getting sick twice
from there and just a basic cheeseburger from McD's.)

Probably would go for Shake Shack among these choices as it seems to
be well liked by everyone while Five Guys and In-n-Out have their
detractors along with huge fan clubs.)

No Five Guys near me or I'd give em a try. The fast foods that are close, I'd rank from best to worse are:

1)Wendy's. Consistently fresh no matter location. They're veggies are excellent as are the chicken and beef patties.

2)Burger King. The flame broiled is almost like cooking outside on a grill. Last time I stopped in though, the drive thru teller was in an argument with a fellow worker, and I got to hear everything over his open mic headset. The sandwich at that location on that day was horrible, and I was sick the next day. Haven't been to BK in over 6 months as a result.

3)McDonalds. Quality depends on franchise location. The one nearest me is a salmonella celebration of fast food. Poor sanitation. The coffee is always bitter. The staff are pigs and never include napkins with drive-thru order.. I've seen employees sliding across the greasy floors like Olympic skaters during breakfast. No veggies are served at McDees anymore. The store 10 min drive from me is 10X better service, quality and sanitation.

Of the 3, Wendy's is my pick. Major complaint is they are so S L O W. But the food is good and freshly prepared, so I wait patiently.

As a side note, I'm preparing meals more at home now as we wait for the coming recession. With all the right ingredients, my chef salad is as good as any at a restaurant, and a LOT cheaper too. I eat a lot of veggies, beans and rice. Luv my Zojirushi rice cooker and Matfer fry pans. Had to descale my Delonghi Dedica expresso machine this week, it blew up on me 3 times one morning because of high pressure from calcium scaling. Citric acid solution and 45 minutes later, the coffee was again flowing better than anything I can buy local at fast food joints.

Shake shack loses out for me because of peanut oil, same as five guys.

I’ve only had in and out once. The only location is about a half an hour
from me. I happen to be up there anyway so I got one and brought it home
and ate it and it was Soso. Later I was told they don’t travel well that
you have to eat them right there in the parking lot!

Five Guys is just heaven on a bun but I have to restrict myself from eating
there too often because what makes the burgers so tasty also is pretty bad for
your arteries. So for me, while I love them, it's been relegated to a rare
treat.

Fast foods joints are prohibited by law in California from including any
"one-use items" with orders, either inside or through the drive-thru. The
eco-nuts have made it so they can only give you napkins, condiments, straws,
or utensils if you affirmatively ask for them. If you don't, you pull out, get
down the road and find none of that in the bag like you expect. It's
enraging.

From public official declarations of 'transitory' inflation to 'nimble' monetary policy followed by 'soft landing' recovery, we have been deceived for nearly 2 years. This mess didn't start with Biden 2020. It started with Biden 2003, giving approval for the Iraq invasion, and the budget draining endless war he and nearly everyone in Washington voted for. The bad news is high inflation (a hidden tax) is on the horizon for the next 10 years.... so the USG can prepare for the next war with China. Hidden taxation without representation, is just tough shit.

I'm just glad I bought nearly all my high-end kitchen wares from France, Germany and China, before China stopped buying US debt. If severe food shortages come to America, the mime will still be able to cook crickets in the Zojirushi steamer. Or use the Matfer Bourgeat carbon steel to pan-fry leg of poodle.

A country boy can survive ....., with a Zwilling chef knife and a carbon steel Mauviel fry pan.
