They explained on a business report I listened to that there is a group
within the Bureau of Economic Analysis that declares when a recession
occurs. Even Jerome Powell at his press conference today denied that the
massive interest hikes were sinking the economy into recession,
considering how tight the labor market is. Quite frankly, he'll be
condemned worse than Biden, as well he should given that interest rate
hikes dampen down demand, only, but most of the inflation is caused by
lack of supply.
