Here are some wrestling news items for you:
- Smackdown from last week - which aired several hours after Vince McMahon retired - opened with Stephanie McMahon welcoming the fans. She led a chant of "Thank you, Vince." The Street Profits then appeared to cut a promo, but was interrupted by Theory the Usos and Madcap Moss. It became a six-man tag team match. After Ludwig Kaiser beat Shinsuke Nakamura, he chopped Kaiser. Liv Morgan and Ronda Rousey had a face-to-face confrontation where Rousey said that she will regain the Smackdown Women's title at SummerSlam and Morgan will shake her hand. Happy Corbin attacked Pat McAfee at the announce table. The new and vicious Viking Raiders threw Jinder Mahal and Shanky right at the New Day. The Raiders won by countout. Raquel Rodriguez made short work of Sonya Deville with a Tequila Bomb. Lacey Evans didn't face Aliyah again. Now it was time for the main event: the Usos and Theory against the Street Profits and Moss. The babyfaces won by DQ as "Mr. Money in the Bank" hit Moss with the briefcase. Then came - Brock Lesnar. "The Beast" hit Theory with the briefcase and delivered two F5s. Earlier that Friday, Lesnar walked out after McMahon retired - and his title match at Slam against Roman Reigns was in jeopardy. In the ratings, Smackdown drew 2.256 million viewers.
- AEW Rampage from last week opened with Hangman Adam Page and John SIlver taking on the Butcher and the Blade. Page won the match with a Buckshot Lariat. Claudio Castagnoli cut a promo putting over his Ring of Honor Championship match against Jonathan Gresham. Wardlow then said he would beat the crap of anyone to defend the TNT title. Lee Moriarty defeated Dante Martin by using the ring ropes. Dr. Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter beat Skye Blue and Ashley D'Amboise when Baker used the lockjaw submission move. Max Caster and Austin Gunn engaged in a rap battle. The Acclaimed won, but the Gunn Club attacked. In the main event, Jay Lethal beat Christopher Daniels with Samoa Joe's choke. The second night of Fyter Fest Rampage drew 428,000 viewers.
