per year in the '90s, but that included child support. He also paid
her a $14m lump of money at the time of the divorce.

No, I don't think Trump was trying to get out of paying alimony. I
also don't know if he has to keep paying her estate.

No, alimony ends with the death of the payee. The purpose of alimony is for
the spouse to live in the way they'd become accustomed during the marriage. If
the spouse is dead, there is no further purpose for alimony. Indeed, it would
be a helluva a thing to never be able to escape your ex, even after she's
dead.
