Here are some wrestling news items for you:

- AEW Dynamite "Quake by the Lake" from last week opened with Darby Allin taking on Brody King in a coffin match. The House of Black and Sting the Crow helped out, but in the end King was placed in the coffin. In a Tornado Tag Team match, Andrade El Idolo and Rush (pronounced Roosh) beat the Lucha Brothers after Penta El Zero Miedo unmasked himself. Luchasaurus then won a squash, and afterwards JUngle Boy attacked Christian Cage backstage. Wardlow, FTR , Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt and Satnam Singh all brawled with the faces standing tall. Ricky Starks then beat Aaron Solow, but Nick Comoroto attacked. Jade Cargill still was undefeated, and she successully defended the TBS Women's title against Madison Rayne. Athena then attacked Cargill. AEW Interim World Champion Jon Moxley defended the title against Chris Jericho in the main event. Mox won with the rear naked choke. The Jericho Appreciation Society then attacked Claudio Castagnoli, Ortiz and Eddie Kingston - but CM Punk made a surprise return, clearing the ring of the JAS. In the ratings, Dynamite earned 972,000 viewers, up from the 958,000 from last week.
- Smackdown opened with a WWE Women's tag team title tournament match between Raquel Rodriguez and Aaliyah vs. Shotzi and Xia Li. Rodriguez won with a Tejada Bomb. Drew McIntyre cut a promo saying that he wanted to put Karrion Kross in the graveyard and wanted to face Roman Reigns at Clash at the Castle. Scarlett distracted the Scot, and that led to The Usos attacking The Scot. The Viking Raiders attacked Kofi Kingston, and then the Hit Row made a return. Top Dolla and Ashante Thee Adonis beat two jobbers in a tag team match. Liv Morgan and Shayna Baszler had a contract signing for their Smackdown Women's title match. Before the signing, Ronda Rousey came out and cut a promo. Morgan put Baszler through the table. Drew and Madcap Moss take on the Usos in a non-title bout. Drew won with a Claymore on Jimmy despite Sami Zayn's interference. Drew then laid out the heels to close the show. In the main event, Gunther defended the Intercontinental title against Gunther. Gunther won with a powerbomb. In the ratings, Smackdown drew 1,927,000 viewers, up from 2.083 million from August 5.

- AEW Rampage continued the Quake on the Lake theme. Bryan Danielson opened with a promo that said he was going to continue wrestling, but Daniel Garcia said he was threatening to end his career. Sammy Guevara and Melo (his newlywed bride, Tay Conti) defended the AAA mixed tag team titles against Martin and Blue. Melo gave a TayKO to Blue to retain. Parker Boudreaux made his in ring debut, defeating Sonny The Gunn Club then took on Dannhausen and Erick Redbeard. Colton and Austin Gunn pinned Dannhausen to win. The main event saw Orange Cassidy take on Ari Daivari Despite both sides interfering, Cassidy won with the Orange Punch. Sonny Kiss then attacked OC, and he had joined the Trustbusters. In the ratings, Rampage drew 528,000 viewers, up from the 468,000 from last week.
