I want an emotional freedom support eagle, too. Because America!

In your case it's generally the smell of horse excrement. Hope this helps.

I read an article once about a woman who tried to board a plane with her
emotional support animal - a Shetland pony! I can't remember if they let
her (and the pony) on. I think the regulations actually insist that
passengers *can* board with a support animal without hindrance but I
don't know if the regulations have any limitations on the species
involved. I'm picturing someone trying to board with an adult alligator,
monitor lizard, or elephant. I mean seriously, there has to be *SOME*
limit, right?

This was actually an eagle from a bird sanctuary in Missouri that was
traveling to attend a raptor performance. The dude wasn't claiming any
emotional support need for the eagle.

I am aware that a miniature horse doesn't take up much floor space, but
a Shetland pony is absurd.

There was finally a regulation in the United States distinguishing
between therapy animals who were certified through specialized training
programs, and self-proclaimed emotional support animals. They finally
decided that every passenger making a claim in the latter category was
committing abuse.

"When my nose is stuffed, I need my support dog to smell things for me!"
No, it was never supposed to work like that.

Because you're a fucking idiot, you don't seem to know sarcasm doesn't
play well on the 'net. You also don't seem to know that no form of
communication plays well with "Rhino."

My late wife had a Corgi service dog for many years; after the dog's
passing she heard the providing agency was mostly by then using yellow
setters. Neither is a particularly large dog breed.

When she visited her parents in Ontario Minnie the Corgi went to the
veteranarian's kennel for 10 days.

When the dog was 8 years old she was officially retired from the
service dog list and my wife was offered the choice of keeping her
trained dog officially as a family pet or receiving a new service dog
(the agency does not normally leave the first dog in homes if they
take that choice as the dogs tend to compete to serve) She chose to
keep Minnie for the remaining 7 years of her life and the dog
continued to do her routines till the very end.

Not sure how my wife managed it but even once off the list she was
allowed to keep the dog's coat identifying her as an official service
dog (which was required to be worn to allow the service dog to go
where pet dogs couldn't)
