delay tactic shot down in flames. One day left for Trump to be indicted
if it's to happen this week, will a grand jury be convened tomorrow?

I would not expect it this week. I think next week -- Tuesday or
Wednesday -- after the Labor Day holiday is more likely.

If they want to surprise me, though, have at it!

I'm not sure we will see any indictment before the election. Just
because with Trump involving himself so much with the upcoming
elections it's possible that DOJ may decide to wait till after the
election to take any action against Trump. Plus DOJ does need to
review all that they have (and possibly they may want to visit other
Trump properties) so that would entail further delays.

I'm wondereing if the 1/6 committee will unearth more evidence against
him, or have some testimony with someone who was there during his last
days in the White House and saw documents being loaded up. And some are
rainsing the question whether he might have other government papers at
Trump Tower and Bedminster. They may not be finished investigating this.
