i'm not quite 300, but i'm up there....like that alabama shakes singer. just saw her on axs. i could tell even before turning up the sound, whoever/whatever it was, that i would like it, and i was right.

i infoed it, and had heard of them before. i googled it, to see how well-known/popular they are, and the first youtube had 21 million hits.

so my question is, if we all tend to like the same kinds of things, why am i all alone? what's my soulmate's problem? :-(

If one believes in jurisprudence, then one has the moral and ethical obligation to adhere to its tenets.
We do not possess the luxury of foreknowledge, and cannot convict potential tyrants before the fact.
We convict and sentence people for crimes that they’ve committed. The function and purpose of the
January 6th committee hearings is to explore whether the former President has any legal culpability.
What did he know? When did he know it? Did he act illegally? Can he be charged, convicted, sentenced,
and serve time? I don’t know. It’s certainly never happened before. Nixon was pardoned to avoid such
a national disgrace. It’s certainly noteworthy, and more than a bit ironic that the current former President

I’m about an hour south. We’ve been there for the 4th of July before,
but have stayed home for the past few years. Crowds make me nervous.

Yep, I was an exile for too long but it's my home turf. I know the area they describe in the news reports well even to this day. Never liked crowds myself and nowadays, crowds of people with chips on their shoulders and short fuses, potentially armed with guns; would be something to avoid like the plague...

And someone claimed that this is good for us. I heard something like 41% of Republicans believe that this a tolerable new reality that we should learn to accept...
