What evidence?

The evidence of my own eyes says that around Easter, supermarket
shelves are full of chocolate eggs. Not full of dead Jews.

I've read the Bible... well, very large parts of it... my old fellas'a
leather bound Jerusalem Bible (TJB) from the 1960's ... so I know what
it says about the crucification and resurrection of Jewsus. I'm not
sure you know exactly what it actually says though as you seem to just
take the parts of it you like and make up the rest.

Just because somebody (Paul) is reporting a story from decades before
about what people believe happened doesn't meant that it's 100% factual
or proof it actually happened. A story passed down by word of mouth or
written in a letter is only proof of what those people believed. A
belief isn't evidence. Some people believe in UFO's and at one stage
people believed the world was flat.

provide some evidence beyond "he said" ... If I say the moon is made of
cheese you would expect some sort of evidence to back up my wild claim,
wouldn't you? Most historians - well, those of repute - usually provide
notes to their primary sources so lay-people (that's us) can check them

Historians interpret the past based on the evidence, as more evidence
appears, opinions can be revised. In 2023 I have seen no evidence that
confirms the resurrection.

The Bible contains a lot of people telling stories, some of which might
be based on truth, some of which are repeated out of blind faith. The
Bible contains a lot of different things in one book. Not everything in
it is historically accurate, rather, its authors were more concerned
with conveying information that is important to their religious beliefs.

A clever person can see that and still have their faith, a
fundamentalist who thinks everything should be seen HIS way, cannot!
