Isn’t it quite an extraordinary coincidence that space aliens have a human
shape to them rather than, for example, elephant, giraffe, or alligator
shape. It’s probably because elephants, giraffes, and alligators don’t have
their own CIA to plant such bullshit in their minds.

Technologically advanced beings require a body that's able to manipulate their environment to a high degree. That requires body parts similar to hands or, I suppose, octopus-like tentacles. If you're saying that it is vanity that shapes aliens into forms that humans can relate to, I can't disagree. Of course, being technologically advanced is not important in nature. The most successful species on Earth are probably horseshoe crabs.
Of more importance, I think, is that fact that it wouldn't be in our interest to have aliens making contact. We all know what happens when an advanced civilization meets a primitive, less powerful, one. In the case of the Hawaiians, the newcomers killed off 90% of the population. Then they tried to wipe out the native culture and took over the Kingdom of Hawaii as their own. Then, Mark Zuckerberg came to the islands and kicked the Hawaiians off their land.

Advancement is more than mere technological advancement. There might be ESP
advancement, morphic-resonance advancement, or some sort of spiritual
advancement which allows the rising above it all.

aren’t valued by powerful people. But, then again, I see so-called
“powerful people” like I see the Hoover Dam, and the weak masses are like
the gentle, trickling water of the Colorado River. My money is on the
Colorado River winning in the long run.
