“New Shoes” is just a good feeling, a state of mind,
that I think the song conveys well. Yesterday, I was
literally running 🏃‍♂️ late, or at least later than I had
planned, because it’s been getting hot here so early,
but I was filled with the good feeling that running in
New Shoes gives, so I wasn’t worried about the heat.
So, that’s why I posted as I did, to convey that feeling.

hmm.....running in New Shoes....do you mean you had a new pair of running shoes, or that you had on ear buds or the like, and the song New Shoes was playing around and in your head, hence, running in New Shoes.

i ask because coco gauff the uprising tennis player just acquired a really cool pair of new shoes. and btw, so did i. my first new pair of footwear in a decade or more. for my foot which i broke, heel, tore tendons and ligaments, and it became a chronic injury because it was not treated properly due to the corrective measures not being enough. (fracture boot and walker, which damaged it.) it was very very very serious.

And there was another incident when we were emailing back and forth, and I was interpreting something a particular way, due to a certain flow of consciousness, and said something, and you took it all wrong, and then the electricity went out, maybe my battery went dead, I think I recall I was standing in the kitchen at the time, the laptop was on the counter. I just remember, it was all a miscommunication. You thought I was being disrespectful to you, and I WAS NOT, you MISUNDERSTOOD what I was saying. It was something else entirely due to a personal connection I made about something, and thus said something relating to it, and you thought I was talking about YOU. SOMETHING like that.
