From Jude

TV Ratings: DC's Stargirl had fewer viewers following its cancellation, and
The Amazing Race was up on a night dominated by the World Series.

What did you watch last night?

“Fewer viewers following its cancellation”

FTR we skipped it, too. We couldn't see investing further in a lost
cause.

Just FTRT (:-), I intend to stick with it to the end. Berlanti says
they had enough warning to bring it to a satisfying conclusion, so we'll
see. Maybe I'm the only one, but I'm finding it highly enjoyable.
THe characters seem to be interesting, especially Shade, who I find
delicious (:-)).

That last episode was the best episode of the season. Not just best of
a bad batch, it was actually good.

Good to hear. I wish more show runners would get their acts together
and wrap things up at the end of the season.

If I could somehow see it it would be the only one of the season.

Same here. Some excellent series were cancelled before completion. Is
this an excellent series? More like "merely good," but the point is
that cancellation doesn't suddenly change the quality of the episodes
already in the can.

Good to hear.

I'm still finding it interesting. I suspect they're going to leave the
redemption arcs open-ended, though.

The most important point, I suspect, is that they receive advance
warning that they've been cancelled, and not plan a cliffhanger until
and unless they've been renewed.
