businesses. So is it any surprise that business owners on Ventura Boulevard
get no response from her when they call her for help? What the business owners
don't seem to understand is that regardless of the platitudes she spouts for
the cameras, she *wants* this to be happening to them. She likes it. This
whole thing is going exactly as planned as far she's concerned.

selling drugs and guns... and Ramen literally shrugged and said, "What do you
want me to do about it?" When the reporter suggested getting LAPD involved to
protect taxpaying citizens from criminal predation, she laughed and
sarcastically said, "Sure, that's all we need. More cops."

The politicians here are either true believers like Ramen who see this as the
inevitable result of capitalism and therefore desirable in order to remake the
system or they're using the Homeless Industrial Complex to reward their
political cronies and donors with the firehose of tax money that's being
sprayed at the issue from all directions. This is how we end up with $900,000
apartments being built for vagrants at taxpayer expense, who will immediately
turn that stupefyingly expensive apartment into a cesspit because when you put
a meth-addicted psychotic vagrant into a luxury apartment, he doesn't suddenly
stop being a meth-addicted psychotic vagrant.

What corporate philosophy are you objecting to here? The policy of ignoring
this appalling situation because it makes Democrats look bad?

Because that's the policy of all the other local news affiliates whom you
don't object to. Only the Fox affiliate continues to hold the pols' feet to
the fire over this and the illegal alien disaster going on at the border.
Are you suggesting that's a bad thing and that Fox station should just fall
in line like all the others and carry water for Democrat politicians?

What specifically are you objecting to here? Is it not legitimate to report
on the complete collapse of the social fabric of the city with the apparent
blessing (and even encouragement in some cases) of the city government?
