Turkey is currently experiencing the highest inflation rate in the G20.
In September 2022, the rate reached 83.45% (compared with prices in
September 2021). This means that goods costing 100 Turkish lira (Tl) in
September 2021 would now cost Tl183.45. It has also experienced the
largest growth in inflation of any G20 country, more than 60 percentage
