The theory of humans shlepping on foot thru an ice age Siberia into and thru ice age
N.America never made sense to me, as it's just too difficult of a route. A maritime
migration along the coast on the other hand, is very doable and is most likely the way
human arrived in the Americas.

Of course this route also works from Europe to the Americas (in fact, it would have
been easier then from Asia to the Americas) and I suspect that's the reason some
anthropologist are leery of promoting it, as it could mean ancient Europeans were
in the Americas long before ancient Asians (the ancestors of today's Indians).
