now has a Dem trifecta. Very likely that one of the first things

Before the election, between 90 and 94% of the voters, in poll after
poll, said the vagrants and crime are the two most important issues in
L.A. So what do they do? They vote in Bass, who has outright stated that
she's pretty much cool with the "hands-off, let vagrants take over all
public spaces and do whatever they want" status quo and they vote out
Sheriff Villanueva, who has been the *only* elected official L.A. County
for the past four years who has done anything to clean the vagrant
encampments off our streets.

Then there's the fact that Bass was caught in a pay-for-play corruption
scheme where she got a free masters degree from USC for pushing federal
funding to the university. One of the L.A. city councilmen is already
under federal indictment for doing the exact same thing, so she may not
only be the first female mayor elected, she may also be the first female
mayor sent to prison before her term is over.

The L.A. County Board of Supervisors is in open defiance of the Supreme
Court's Bruen ruling. Instead of obeying the Court and getting rid of
the county's "good cause" requirement for concealed carry licenses, the
Board has kept that requirement and added *additional* requirements to
the license.

I'd say the Dems winning here was mostly about abortion, with
otherwise conservative parents freaking out that if they voted
for the Reps, their teenage daughters would make them grand-
parents long before their time.
