Not even going to bother with spoiler space this time - there really
aren't any spoilers here anyway...

Walker: Independence (recorded) - "Friend of the Devil" (ep. #5). This
episode wasn't very interesting. It was all about Sheriff Davidson and
a former partner in crime of his who is on the run from the law and
bounty hunters. In other words, this was basically a "Davidson"
episode, and, like, who cares?!
Meanwhile, Kate keeps pressing Abby for more details on her and her
husband's past, but Abby keeps stonewalling her. Calian finally tells
Gus they think that the sheriff killed Abby's husband; Gus claims he
"knows who did it". (Uh, didn't we *see* Davidson shoot him in the
pilot?! It's not like his guilt is in doubt!) Boyd felt like he was
barely in this one.
I hope the next episode is better than this one was!

Basically we learned that Tom Davidson had been sheriff elsewhere in the
country and used it as a cover for criminal activity.

And they did it in that tv way. We got a vague hint that Kate's from a
wealthy family. Did we know this?

They should have left his character out entirely since it was jammed in
but I suppose his contract requires a weekly appearance for residuals.
