HBO will air season 3 of His Dark Materials starting Monday, 12/5/2022,
9 pm EST. It's an 8 episode season with two episodes each week.

It's adapted from the third novel in the trilogy by Philip Pullman,
Amber Spyglass (2000).

According to the Wikipedia page about the novels, two subsequent trios
of novellas were set in the same universe.

The television series has been adequate, not great. I find myself
distracted by the overwhelming digital effects. It helps that Ruth
Wilson is evil.
