Here are some wrestling news items for you:
- Smackdown from last week opened with Sheamus taking on Sami Zayn. Jey Uso interfered to help the Honorary Uce win the match. Bray Wyatt cut a promo where he said he didn't attack LA Knight. Shayna Baszler - with rinda Rousey in her corner - faced Emma. Shayna made Emma tap out for the submission win, and then attacked Shotzi. Intercontinental champion Gunther beat Kofi Kingston with the Last Symphony in a non-title match. Damage CTRL came out to do a promo, but then Liv Morgan came out. She was beaten up by the WWE Women's tag team champions. Tegan Nox made her retunrn to the ring to help out Morgan; Nox hit the Shining Wizard on Bayley. In the main event, Ricochet faced Santos Escobar in the finals of the Smackdown World Cup tournanent, and Ricochet won with a 630 splash. After the bell, Gunther appeared; he and Ricochet will face off next week for the Intercontinental title. In the ratings, the blue brand - relegated to FS1 due to the PAC-12 championship football game - drew 902,000 viewers.

- AEW Rampage opened with Darby Allin taking on Cole Karter pf the Factory. Allin won with a Coffin Drop. Jeff Jarrett teamed up with Jay Lethal to face Private Party after Jarrett and Lethal were among those who confronted the Acclaimed. Lethal pinned Marc Quen for the win. Athena squashed Dani Mo. In the main event, Orange Cassidy feced QT Marshall for the All-Atlantic champion. Penelope Ford and Kip Sabian came out, and Sabian pushed Cassidy off the top. "Freshly Squeezed" recovered to win the match. The lights went out, and the House of Black showed up to close the show. In the ratings, Rampage drew the lowest ratings in the show's history - 361,000 viewers.

- Barry Windham is out of ICU at an Atlanta-area hospital after suffering a heart attack over the weekend.
