1) They haven't attacked you in this thread -- unless you care to scroll back to 2020 posts.

2) NancyGene blocks nearly all of your posts, so I doubt that she's been doing much attacking (if any).

3) Given a choice between Tit for Tat and Turning the Other Cheek (self-perpetuating, reciprocal exchanges of violence vs refusing to participate in a fight), it should be clear which option leads to peace.

4) I've stopped calling you names. In doing so, I have taken a step toward creating a more peaceful atmosphere here. If you stop trolling others, that would be another step toward attaining what should be a universally desired goal.

5) I'm not asking you to turn the other cheek: only to stop initiating the slap fest. If NancyGene, ME, or Jim attack you, retaliate in the same thread. Don't start new threads trolling them. Don't attempt to troll them into joining a fight that they are not participating in.

That won't achieve peace, but it's a step in the right direction.

No one is out to ridicule, mock, hurt or embarrass you and Will. There's no conspiracy; and there aren't even really opposing sides.

People attack Will because he abuses AAPC, is inconsiderate of others who wish to use AAPC as it was intended to be, and refuses to show any consideration when his abuses are brought to his attention.

If Will stopped all the spamming, necroposting, Hello Jordys, etc., and stuck to posting *new* poems of his own, and commenting on the poetry of others, there would be no animosity here.

I doubt that will ever happen (Will's too stubborn), but the rest of us *can* establish a civil atmosphere when addressing one another.

Little steps like that can go a long way.
