Thirsty Are the Flies

See me
over there, in the shadows
with one thousand eyes?

I watch you know,
the undressing
of a world,
the righteous
with a pitiful stand,
as green flies walk
unfortunate genitalia
not concerned if
the host
is silver spoon fed
for its blood they seek
and over there,
those whose blood
is now dust,
flies land, laying eggs
for future tomorrow flies
for today
is now done,
equality being
what is the future.
