Yesterday was a "catch-up" day, as I got back from my brother's at
mid-day, and needed to catch up on soaps!

So I watched:

The Crown (Netflix) - "No Woman's Land" and "Gunpowder" (ep's #5.7 & 5.8).
I think it's official - I don't care for season #5 of this show. It
feels like the weakest season, by far!
"No Woman's Land" I found mostly boring, though I did appreciate how
it showed us what lying pond scum Martin Bashir is, and these two
episodes showed us how he single-handledly ruined the BBC! But this
episode is all about how Bashir feeds Diana's paranoia.
"Gunpowder" is only slightly better as it's about Bashir's IRL
interview with Diana, and its consequences. Also I didn't really know
that "Guy Fawkes Night" is a "thing"!
Just two more episodes of this to go - I may do them for lunch today
rather than dinner.

soaps: DOOL - Mon's & Tues's ep's. Wow, you miss a day or two, and
suddenly Kate is "dead" (we know it won't "stick"!), and then Kayla
dies in... Tues's(?) ep. And Alex is toast with Stephanie, once she
finds out that he turned off her phone in order to get nookie!!
Meanwhile, I was disappointed that Eric didn't just shoot Kristen, and
that Lucas didn't just take that hooch bottle, break it, and stab
Orpheus about a thousand times with it! Finally, pointlessly, I think
Chloe is about to figure out that Kristen brainwashed Stefan to break
her and Brady up, something that Gabi should have just told her. :/
GH - Fri's to Wed's ep's(!) I just got sucked into watching all of
this, because it was too good! - Lisel is going to kill amnesiac Esme,
but Nina stops her. Spencer questions Esme and can't tell if she's
faking. Finn suggests the cops search Windemere for evidence of where
Esme was hiding - Victor hides the evidence, but Dante knows they're
hiding something. Josslyn finds out that she got Britt killed by the
Hook. Later, she finds out from Sonny that Michael has been hiding
Willow's cancer from her, and this causes her to flashback to Oscar's
death from the brain tumor... Willow's chemo didn't work, and her bone
marrow match falls through. In the better storylines, Sonny and Nina
discover that Willow has leukemia. NuDrew confronts FauxCarly about
obstructing his search for Willow's mother, and Carly eventually
confesses to being a total lying bitch. Nina confronts Michael about
the cancer and Willow's choices, and Willow collapses and needs to be
taken to the hospital.

--
"Who would ever do this to him!?" - HottCiara on DOOL (04-27-2020), asking
who would stab Victor Kirakis... How about ANYONE WHO'S EVER MET HIM??!!

Brady tells her, but I think that's on Wednesday.

Hey, thanks for…… Nothing?

Ironically that’s exactly what I watched. Nuttin’ honey.

I’ve had TCM on in the background while I tried to sleep.

I guess in the middle of the night I finished off or all but finished off
the end of season one of MOTIVE.

What did YOU watch?

The last thing I want to do is hurt you, but it is still on my list.

More of the Young Indie documentary extras. I think I'll get to the
next mashed together "movie" this evening.

I've done good in this world. Now I'm tired and just want to be a cranky
dirty old man.
