I was merely passing this year's curse on to FamilyGuy.

That said, I don't know how much longer the cease fire will remain in effect.

You may recall that the cease fire was made in order to see if the General would cut down the number of his daily posts, as well as his attacks, if he was treated with civility.

So far, apart from not calling me a "motherfucker," the General has not changed his behavior in any appreciable way.

However, since tonight is Rosh Hashanah, I shall be generous and extend the cease fire for the immediate future.

The expression "eat shit and die" is a common one, Donkey.
It does not necessarily mean you want the person to actually die.
It is telling the person that you dislike them in a very intense way, and that you desire that they go and experience negative circumstances.
