When did a perfectly useful word like "equity" get the moviePig/14th 1/2
Amendment legal language attached to it?

What was ever wrong with equal protection? That had a nice
understandable legal definition.

Just heard another news story that, once again, they are trying to
declare that the Equal Rights Amendment has been amended into the
Constitution, that it's unconstitutional for Congress to put a time
limit on ratifying amendments. If somehow it's unlimited, does that mean
a state legislature can reject an amendment it had previously ratified,
or revoke its ratification of the Constitution itself?

I bring this up because the amendment says "equality of rights" and not
"equal protection", so it means something entirely different.

Without regard to mass slaughter of human beings, 10s of millions at a
time in major attrocities or up to 1/2 of the adult population in a tiny
country by Pol Pot, anyone who knows anything about Karl Marx and
economics will see how very quickly Marx departed from economic reality.

The underlying problem is not now and never was capitalism. Capitalism
includes investors issuing themselves stock in a new corporation in
order to equip a factory or other commercial venture and to pay wages
and salaries till they have some product to sell, the purpose of which
is to benefit from a return to capital.

This is benign if not worthwile.

It's not the reason why factory owners seemingly have a monopsony on
paying wages in which workers aren't fully compensated for their
productivity or aren't even receiving a living wage.

If workers don't have a choice about where to work then there are
outside forces at play -- monopolization of land -- that Marxism simply
doesn't want to address head on.
