I'm guessing the scene of Morse driving away from the fancy building while Inspector
Morse drives towards it, references an "Inspector Morse" episode? I seem to remember
the building from the earlier show.

This was a reference to S01E01 of "Endeavour", where Inspector Thursday asks Morse
where he sees himself in the future and he looks into the rearview mirror and we see
an older grey haired Inspector Morse looking back.

Also, what was up with the earlier scene where Thursday gives Morse his old revolver
and we see Morse sitting outside a church, loading one round, spinning the cylinder
and after the camera cuts away, firing a shot?

Obviously he didn't kill himself, so was this supposed to be some kinda possible
alternate future for him? Weird scene.

I was kinda surprised Joan survived the show and married Strange, (also, the actress
is getting a booty on her) as I figured she'd be killed off somehow, since this marriage
was (obviously) never mentioned on "Inspector Morse".

Excellent tv series (both of them) and I'm bummed we'll no longer have anymore
seasons of "Endeavour".

As for "The Last Of Us", I haven't seen the season finale yet but don't care for the
show and probably won't watch S02.

I refuse it a "season" for a show that sported just 3-4 episodes "per season"!!

British shows frequently kill off characters, ("MI-5/Spooks" killed off damn near
the whole cast eventually) and we all knew Morse would never hook up with
Joan and the "Inspector Morse" series ended on a down note with his death, so
I figured "Endeavour" might also, with maybe the secret conspirators killing her?

Sure, but I like the way "Endeavour" retconned their relationship.

*meh* It's a lame tv show. The best episode was the two gays guys, as the acting
and story was good and we finally got a zombiepocalypse character who wasn't a
total dumbass.

"Endeavour" had four episodes per season from S01 to S06, with S05
having six episodes, while S07, S08 and S09 only had three per.

This is really annoying, even if each episode is 1.5 hours.

Remember when Star Trek was putting out 26 episodes per season and
at two points, had _two_ series running at the same time (TNG + DS9
and DS9 + VOY)...
