On Saturday, I did nothing except watch stuff:

The Ark (recorded) - "Every Single Person Matters" (ep. #8). - This
episode should have been better than it was.
See the separate dedicated thread for the full review.

soaps: DOOL - I think it was Tues' and Wed's ep's. Mostly pass, though
I did like Leo Stark dropping the bomb on Chloe for calling Brady's and
Kristen's demon spawn daughter a "monster"!! Xander continues to act
like a Neaderthal about Gwen and Alex. Meanwhile, Bo tries to remember
who he is (with flashbacks!!). Meh.

Match Madness - Florida Atlantic upsets again! But the UConn-Gonzaga
was a massive disappointment, and basically a bore.

The Blacklist (recorded) - "The Night Owl" (ep. #10.1). It's a general
rule that the less a "Blacklist" episode has of James Spader as Red the
less interesting it is - well, this episode doesn't have much of Red...
so it wasn't very interesting.
This all seemed to be set up for the new (final) season. We pick up
6 months after season #9 - Red's "sisters"m whom he had with him the
last couple of seasons have mercifully been retired.
We get a pointless cameo from Aram, who is never seen or heard from
again. (I wonder if this is all we'll get from him this season?)
Mercifully, we are spared any trace of Alina Park, who was a massive
misfire for all of the seasons she was there, and who isn't missed in
the slightest.
Indeed, I like the newly trimmed down Task Force - the fewer members
there, the better!
Anyway, Wujing continues to try to collect all of the Blacklisters
that Red has had arrested as part of his revenge! REVENGE!! plan, and
the Task Force finally discovers this fact.
Along the way, they run across Siya Malik, the now-grown and MI-6
agent daugther of Meera Malik. The problem here is that it's been so
long since Meera Malik was on the show that I remember no details about
her - though I'm pretty sure she ended up turning out to be a "bad
guy", so I have no idea why Harold would be in a rush to take her
daughter on.
Indeed, the way this plays out, it is pretty much *screaming* that
Siya is a "plant", likely working for Wujing, and likely seeking her
own brand of REVENGE!! on Red for her mother's death.
Bottom line: This was all set up, with too little Red. So get back
to me when they have more Red!! (I will likely watch "The Blacklist's"
ep. #10.2 tonight to try to catch up some on this show...)

Don't Breath (Tubi) - Despite the fact that I wanted to watch this
commercial free, it has been so hard for me to track down this flick
that I decided to just watch if off Tubi before it once again leaves
and goes somewhere where I can't watch it at all!!
Anyway, I thought this was very good.
The film's open seems to give away the ending, but mercifully that
turns out to be misdirection, and there's more to the story.
But this is a taut in-house (escape) thriller, a la "The Collector"
(but far less outlandish!).
I didn't care for the very ending, which seems to hint at a sequel.
Of course, a sequel was made, but it is currently locked up by Starz
(nobody gets Starz!!) so I can't watch it (along with dozens of other
movies I would like to watch but which are locked up by Starz!!).

What did you watch?

"Who would ever do this to him!?" - HottCiara on DOOL (04-27-2020), asking

I saw the sequel in the theater. It was good, although I don't really
remember it. I think they are doing a third. I'll wait for that to
revisit them.

> What did you watch?

I watched:

Mortal Kombat (blu-ray) 1995 live action movie based on the popular
video game. The movie continues to hold up very well. It sure would be
nice to have this in 4K with Dolby Atmos.

Mortal Kombat: Annihilation (blu-ray) 1997 sequel that continues to be
one of the worse movies ever made. The only saving grace are the cool
fight scenes.

Mortal Kombat (4K disc) 2021 live action reboot of the franchise that
unlike the first two movies went hard "R" for the fight scenes and
fatalities. This was my first time watching it since it was in the
theater. I guess it's OK. Hopefully next time around they put as much
thought into the story as they put in the fights scenes. I know the
said can be said about the 97 sequel, but when you watch it back to back
with "Annihilation" it's great by comparison!

Street Fighter (blu-ray) 1994 live action movie based on the popular
video game. I really should have watched this first, but it was a last
minute addition mainly because I realized I've never watched this with
the Mortal Kombat movies before. Anyway I have to admit it's a "bad"
movie but it's a fun "bad" movie. I never get tired of watching Raul
Julia (in his final role) chew the scenery. You can tell he clearly had
a blast making this movie. And the cast is rounded out with Jean-Claude
Van Damme (who would have made much more sense playing Johnny Cage in
the first Mortal Kombat movie), Ming-Na Wen, Miguel A. Núñez Jr., and
Wes Studi. I had this on as background noise with the director's
commentary while I was straitening up in another room and occasionally
looking up to see what was on screen.

Doom (4K disc) 2005 live action movie based on the popular video game.
In a clear rip off of "Aliens" Dwayne Johnson AKA "The Rock" and Karl
Urban star as space marines who take a trip to Mars to rescue scientists
(including Rosamund Pike) after an experiment goes wrong and begins to
mutate everyone into monsters. Fortunately there's a BFG handy. This
was mostly background noise while I cleaned in another room and
occasionally looked up to see what was on screen. Apparently there is a
sequel called "Doom: Annihilation." I have no memory of it, but Netflix
says I rented it and didn't like it.

Rampage (3D blu-ray) 2018 live action movie based on the popular video
game. Dwayne Johnson AKA "The Rock" stars as the same character he
plays in all of his movies who has to team up with Naomie Haris after
evil CEOs lead by Åkerman allow a chemical to be unleashed that causes
an ape, a wolf, and a lizard to grow to building smashing sizes. Only
the Rock can save the day. I was half asleep by the time I got to this
one. But I crossed it off my list, so it counts.

I already posted what I watched an hour before you did. I feel I'm owed

Not really - when I started no one had posted one, and it can take me
up to an hour (or more) to write up one of these.

Also, your post has the title in the wrong format! ;p

Honestly, even if I had seen yours, I would still have posted mine -
once I've put that much effort into it, I'm just going to post it.

Seriously, it’s an ad, it looks to be by the same people that say, Oprah
invented a gummy that lets you lose 80 pounds in three weeks, just by
chewing one a day (as if that would be survivable). Every day it says this
is your last day to get a free bottle. A friend of mine‘s dad ordered the
free bottle and they billed him $170 for it.

Now it’s Martha Stewart and she’s got two pills and a half a grapefruit or
something and says it’s a permanent cure for both types of diabetes.
