I'm admittedly not a discerning connoisseur of the genre, but it sure sounds
just like all the other thumping nonsense coming out of the cars that drive by

I can't argue. Though I hadn't thought of it, rap lyrics at large seem
to me indiscriminate phonic assemblage well-suited to today's AI. Wake
me when the AI tackles, say, Cole Porter...

I've always thought of rap as a form of music that could be practised by
non-musicians. The virtual absence of melody makes it perfect for all
those people that can only chant but not carry a tune. I see no reason
an AI couldn't do that as well as any other rapper.
