You seem confused again, Donkey.

We have already established that he is a "poet" among the illiterati; and that there are plenty of illiterate sources for you to quote.

Well, maybe you and your allies can explain how you "established" that.
Let's take the first online source I found:

"Poet, singer-songwriter and novelist, he is one of the most popular and
influential writers of his generation whose work has been critically
acclaimed throughout the world and has made Canadian literature familiar
to readers abroad. Images of beauty, despair, outrage and tenderness are
found in his lyrical poetry and prose, whose themes of love, loss and
loneliness touch a universal chord in us all."

Please show us how you'd "establish" the author's illiteracy?

Through the fine art of circular reasoning, of course.

If only illiterates think Leonard Cohen is a poet, then any quote calling Cohen a poet must therefore have come from an illiterate writer.

Ipso facto, the Governor General of Canuckland is a member of the illiterati. Which makes perfect sense when one considers another Canuckian politician as an example of her constituents.

Funny how Will will use the book publishing as evidence and ignore the fact that Nick Cave and Henry Rollins also published poetry books but he'll dismiss that evidence because only his favored poets and singers can be the _greatest_. Do you notice how everything Will likes always has to be the GREATEST and other people's tastes are nothing compared to his? That's his ego talking!

Of course we have, Donkey. Cohen counts Stink, GD, and yourself among his fans.

Hush, your erstwhile wishes disturbs my deary doom
If wishes were fishes
surely we all would be fishing
for happy hugs and kisses
I'll stick to my bitchin'
and stay safely distant behind burnt bridges
