Yeah, somehow I don't see Benson or Stabler posting their location and
pictures of their lunch on Facebook.

He's been in the background for most of the series, but they suddenly
started giving him screen time this season-- he was the key UC in one of
the cases-- so it was surprising they just suddenly wrote the character
out like that. Maybe the actor wanted to leave.

Well, they also got rid of Muncy on SUV, so there's actually two
openings available for Rollins with one left over.
