Police in Kitchener, Ontario pulled over a car and found two unrestrained boa constrictors wandering around freely in the car.

I'll bet that's not a standard day for any police officer. I'm a little surprised he or she kept their cool and didn't actually shoot both snakes dead.. I'm also surprised that the snakes hadn't messed with either the driver or the kid on board.

There was a horrifying case in New Brunswick a few years back where a python escaped its container and then killed two young brothers that were sleeping in a nearby room by smothering them. (The news reports always skirted over the details so I was never clear if the snake actually consumed them.)
