You're right, it was Replicators that actually killed Apophis. I had
forgotten that. (Hey, 200+ episodes to remember here!) The last shot
we see of Apophis is him on the bridge of his mothership with
Replicators crawling around on his personal shield as his ship impacts
on some planet.

The 2022 London’s New Year’s Day parade.

The last of the parades I had backlogged turns out to be the worst.

3 1/2 hours of marching bands, with the audio muted and two idiot hosts ad,
living descriptions of them. They actually made me long to hear bagpipes.

Actual examples.

Well I am flabbergasted. I have no idea Daisy what we’re looking at

This is the first group of the day. What? No it’s the second or third group
of the day and I have no idea who they are but I’m sure somebody will tell
us later.

This is the inflatable cat we were talking about! (No, it’s not, it’s one
of those Chinese floats that you can clearly DEL have about 10 people in
them)

It’s the Gilbert, Arizona high school, marching band! (And they only showed
them long enough to say that)

Amelia Earhawts and the Cabin Crew are a couple dozen very elderly women,
in very short skirts, sort of doing a low impact aerobics dance routine.

https://media.gettyimages.com/id/1453618816/photo/london-new-years-day-parade.jpg?s=612x612&w=gi&k=20&c=ZqZf__EiUP9kgon9fnGv2gHLNZVxcXkI-bUGD_YSj8A=

“If you go to New Orleans at Carnival…“
“Not carnival, Mardi Gras”
“… OK, Mardi Gras, you will see so many groups that are not like this, but
similar”

“We have another group from Gilbert the Gilbert tiger pride marching, band
from Chandler Arizona“ says the guest host who is embarrassingly from
Scottsdale

Moments earlier, she had exclaimed about the 20 foot high skeleton puppet A
guy was working with two sticks, and just shaking it, and how he was
articulating every bit of it right down to its fingertips. Do skeletons
actually have fingertips?

Ladies and gentlemen, hostess Daisy Torme, daughter of singer, Mel Tormé
and actress Jeanette Scott. Yes, the Jeannette scott who got us really hot
when she fought a Triffid that spits poison and kills. She inherited her
fathers looks.

PBS. Television worth paying for.

Most of the rest of the weekend I watched various Marvel movies on FX. But
they had the Marvel movies that Disney doesn’t have yet or just acquired
like Spider-Man and the X-Men. And then they did a double feature of stinky
cheese Larson.

Speaking of sticky cheese, Larson, she appears in what is now officially
the worst MCU product of them all, Ms. Marvel. A viewing accomplice and I
painfully disgusted.

Me (unless otherwise indicated):

I am thinking of watching some of this Ms. Marvel series

Disney is offering me the Marvel cinematic universe in timeline order.
Although it’s not correct.

Yeah, I think I miss marvel is a series

Muslim superhero one season six episodes

Ms. Marvel is HORRIBLE. It’s a Muslim sitcom aimed at tween girls. It’s
like watching some incomprehensible Bollywood movie that supposed to be
funny and you just sit there slack-jawed.

Oh, yeah, she seems to have a gay crush on stinky cheese

They talk about being Muslim. They talk about Pakistan a lot as well.

The second episode is almost entirely them, sitting around talking about
their idiotic beliefs

She finally had to use her powers to save some idiot, who had climbed up on
the bell tower, where they ring their idiot bell to call for prayer every
17 minutes or whatever

Most of the plot of the first episode revolves around her, wanting to go to
a science fiction convention and it’s apparently written by people that
know nothing about science fiction conventions

It’s the first ever avengers convention. They call it avengers con.

In Jersey City. Now first I refused to believe that it took this long in
the Marvel universe to have an avengers convention.

It’s only one night

And the costume contest is restricted to dressing up like Captain Marvel

Yes, there’s a lot of talk about how stinky cheese is the greatest thing in
the avengers, and her hair always looks great when she’s saving the Earth
and her hair always looks great and she punched Thanos in the face and her
hair always looked great, and she saved the universe (which isn’t what
happened in that movie at all, where, Thanos clobbers her and she doesn’t
wake up until Tony Starks funeral.) and her hair always looked great.

Seriously that’s almost exact dialogue from the very beginning of the first
episode

I would say that her hair is the worst part of stinky cheese, but there’s
so much to choose from

And she’s been making this captain marvel outfit for the convention for
weeks without her parents noticing. And then her mother doesn’t want her to
go alone or dress up as Captain Marvel so overnight she whips up two Hulk
muscle suits, one for the kid and one for her father.

L O L her mother is one of the most horrible people that ever lived

And I’m just amazed that she could secretly whip out not one but two Hulk
muscle suits overnight

she’s ignorant about Captain Marvel

She think she dresses all skanky and sexy

And revealing

And of course, she’s just a homely woman covered neck to toe and knock
kneed

Yeah, they talk about these being hi jab girls, but none of them wear a hi
jab

By the way, Ian, there’s one cute skinny redhead you’d like in the pilot
and between the pilot and the first episode she gained 50 pounds and
changed her hair color even though it’s supposed to be the next morning.

They have to bring in a new character in the second episode who does

And then she gets magic powers from some Muslim bracelet, that as far as I
know, are completely unrelated to Captain Marvel

Well, it’s about to get worse

https://screenrant.com/ms-marvel-bracelet-powers-origin-comics/?newsletter_popup=1

Basically, it has nothing to do with the comics where she’s an inhuman

Now she’s an X-Men mutant, and her mutant gene was triggered by the
bracelet, all of which is connected to a completely different powers set in
another dimension we’ve never seen before

Stinky cheese has an uncredited cameo in the credits to the final episode.
I am glad I stopped watching halfway through episode two.

Oh and the whole thing is trick camera shots and angles stolen intact from
better films. Aggressively so.

I’m sure you could storyboard it with screen captures from other stuff

That looked like a rip-off of a movie or show that was on a streaming

My DVR is programmed to pick up anything with the word parade connect to do
it. I get all kinds of weird stuff often fun just because it’s so awful.
Utility company parades from Texas (and local), crap like that. I’ve gotten
the London parade in the past, but it was never horrid like this before.

I was also convinced Apophis died before the replicators came on the
show. I just couldn't reconcile the contradiction in my memory.

Weren't these relatively recent events? How/Where did Red come across
this information?

And *why* must the task force investigate all three simultaneously?

And, of course, Red has an

This has been my recurring problem!! - Ever since Red's "Blacklist
Center" was destroyed around the time Lizzie died, he has no existing
"intelligence network" to get his Blacklister info anymore!!

But in this one, they explained it away by saying Red had "vetted" the
people on the charity board, and discovered their malfeasance that way.

> And *why* must the task force investigate all three simultaneously?

Red wanted results, fast!!

And, also, they were simple cases.
