Agreed. My DVR isn’t finding much to record, but old game shows.

The second season of "Cruel Summer" apparently starts today. "The
Blacklist" is still running episodes. And there's that "Lazarus Man"
thing on TNT. The CW is running imported shows.

I'm somewhat sure that there is pretty literally nothing else new
(scripted) this summer on broadcast and (regular) cable TV. I think
everything else that is new is on streaming.

I have no idea what cruel Summer is. I never got into the blacklist.
Lazarus man is the Robert Urich show that I think I have all the episodes
collected now.

The C dub must die.

Here’s the stuff at the top of the DVR Season pass list:

In reverse order of when they were added.

Aurora Teagarden mysteries.

The Lazarus Project.

Stars on Mars.

In plain sight (well, I added that weeks ago and already watched them all
and erased it so we seem to be done with the new stuff.)

Along time ago, I added Miss Scarlet and the Duke on masterpiece but
apparently PBS never actually showed them.

Bunch of old westerns I’ve been recording for a long time.

Christ we’re already down to the Snark.

I was going to record Lauren Cohen is dead, but the ads for that look far
too stupid to bother with it

That's not even counting the number of movies I have on backlog.

I had the entire series THE VIRGINIAN stored up. But now it’s in better
quality on free V so I dumped the whole folder today. Took can you tell the
DVR from 94 to 82% full or something that I did give me some breathing
room!

It has died. There are no American drama programs this summer. As I
mentioned last week, just two foreign programs on Monday night.

Tried one of these and didn't care for it at all.

This isn't even American tv. TNT bought it from Sky.

No clue.

WGBH Masterpiece had Series I episodes in January and February 2021 and
Series II October and November 2022. Series III was January and February
2023. I never sampled this.

It's a joint UK-US production but I have no idea if Alibi uses the same
production seasons. Masterpiece is not always consistent.

All I can guess is that the listing service changed the series title so
it was inconsistent with how you set up your season pass.

I haven't been able to set the DVR to record Masterpiece as an anthology
of different series. I have to set up each series separately and, again,
the titles aren't always consistent.

And having skipped Lauren Cohen is Alive, you won't be able to follow it?
