Have you read this? We looked at the preview on Amazon and it seems to be a lot of self-help meanderings.

Yes, a gift from a friend.

“No matter the medicinal virtues of being a true friend or sustaining a long close relationship with another,
the ultimate touchstone of friendship is not improvement, neither of the other nor of the self, the ultimate
touchstone is witness, the privilege of having been seen by someone and the equal privilege of being granted
the sight of the essence of another, to have walked with them and to have believed in them, and sometimes
just to have accompanied them for however brief a span, on a journey impossible to accomplish alone.” ~David Whyte

Looks like a good read.

I'm reading Stephen King's "11.22.63" right now, about a time traveler trying to save JFK, as usual with a King book, good characters and plot twists.

Alma is picking up a framed newspaper page this morning. It is the
Philadelphia Inquirer's front page from November 23, 1963. I kept it
all these years. "KENNEDY SHOT TO DEATH" is the headline.

I also have November 25th's front page, "OSWALD SHOT TO DEATH". I
will get that framed as soon as I see how the Kennedy headline turned
out.

As far as time-travel goes, I lost my suspension of disbelief a long
time ago. There are occasional exceptions. "Alien" was a great
flick, but the subsequent "Alien" films were too overdone if you get
my drift.

Time travel has been overdone, yes, but Stephen King is throwing a few curves even this late in the game.

Worth a read, I think.

Framed assassination newspapers are macabre and reflective of David R. Procter's diminished and damaged brain.

The "Alien" films were not about time travel. Duh.

Jealous? Here it is:

(Original newspaper, not a copy)

https://ibb.co/R66fYds

>The "Alien" films were not about time travel. Duh.

My reference to "Alien" was for the "suspension of disbelief".

Regardless, doesn't your puny brain remember that the crew of the
Nostromo were awakened from hibernation by the unknown signal of
distress? That "statis" or suspended animation is a form of
"time-travel". You are too ignorant to understand.

It starts out well, but gets dull as it goes on. Surprisingly, the dullest parts are those that deal with Oswald and Kennedy. I think King should have cut all the JFK stuff, and stuck with the love story. The ending was a a bit of a letdown.

With NancyGene clueless is more likely.

Again, clueless is the best description for NancyGene these days.

HTH and HAND.

Newspaper copies from November 23, 1963 (and there are thousands of them) are worth nothing unless perhaps they are from Dallas. Otherwise, they are only mementos that don't age well (newsprint does not keep very long). We wonder if David R. Procter has also framed the Kennedy autopsy pictures.

We don't think that Stephen King is a great writer. He is a storyteller, but he really needs to do more editing on his books. "Fairy Tale" was over 600 pages, and quite a bit of that could have been excised.

Will, note her obsession with me. She is a deranged lunatic.

Yes, NancyGene has become fixated with you, very much like she was with Stephan Pickering.

No, will.
It has become quit evident that Mack came here to stalk NG and Michael to try to discredit them.
But that hasn’t worked out that well for him.
He’s been shown to be a rather bat shit crazy stalker in his own right.
His behavior here has been nothing less than insane and delusional.

It just hasn’t worked out well for him.
Better luck on your next one.

OMFG! Did Jake just say that the "Alien" films were about time travel?

"As far as time-travel goes, I lost my suspension of disbelief a long
time ago. There are occasional exceptions. 'Alien' was a great
flick, but the subsequent 'Alien' films were too overdone if you get
my drift."

It's becoming even harder to believe that you were a teacher when your communication skills are almost as poor as our resident Donkey's.
