Gotham Knights (recorded) - "City of Owls" (ep. #12, the penultimate episode).
This was actually a good penultimate episode.
But my synopsis runs really *long*, so please see my separate thread
for this episode...

soaps: DOOL - Ha! Alex K. poaches that potential client that turned
Maggie down, and Maggie busts in to confront Alex and Brady about it.
While being a little over-the-top insulting about it, Alex rightly
points out that *Maggie* is the one who lost the client, and he's done
nothing wrong. Maggie vows RETRIBUTION!!1! on both of them.Brady is
annoyed that Alex did not tell him the full story about the client.
Maggie wants Chad to take over Alex's old job at Titan... Bonnie is
having trouble keeping Sarah's secret, and is about the crack. Xander
canoodles which Chloe, and they run across Justin, who also now knows
Sarah's secret, and is uncomfortable about having to keep it.
GH - Nina relates to Ava that she didn't have to tell Sonny the
truth after she found out that Ned's severe brain injury means he
doesn't remember Nina's secret. Later, Nina is outraged when she finds
out that Drew is going to take the fall, and Carly is going to, once
again, get off scot free for her crimes!! Sam righteously lays NuDrew
out for being a schmuck (and bad dad!) for taking the fall and going to
jail for BitchCarly, but gets nowhere with the idiot. (Hopefully the
feds turn down Drew's "deal"!) Jordan suggests that Taggart take over
her job as Commissioner of Police! (I hope he takes it, so Taggart will
stick around on GH a while this time!) Portia, after cryptically
whining to lil' Lizzie about Curtis, goes to confront Jordan about
snogging Curtis!

Recorded for later: Nothing, but the final episode of "Class of '09"
has dropped, so I plan to get to that tonight...

--
"Who would ever do this to him!?" - HottCiara on DOOL (04-27-2020), asking
who would stab Victor Kirakis... How about ANYONE WHO'S EVER MET HIM??!!

Do you know what would have been a better penultimate episode?

The pilot.

SECRET INVASION S01E01 “Resurrection“ about which I will say this:

Watched the STAR TREK VOYAGER where Janeway’s massive incompetence gets
everybody on her ship killed so they have to hit a reset and decide that
their timeline is more important than everyone else’s timeline and kill
everyone in the galaxy to save themselves.

it was followed by an incredibly bad STAR TREK ENTERPRISE, where they
stopped at a Comet, which had not only earth normal gravity but a complete
atmosphere. They said the only reason they were wearing their space suits
on the surface of it was to keep warm.

Then my Cox TV went out again. Three nights out of four. They continue to
insist. It must somehow be my modem despite the fact that their website
either puts up a notice that they aren’t working or you can’t get to their
website at all. And somehow it’s my fault. if only.

I continue to empty out my DVR in anticipation of returning it. That will
be its own thread.

Wasn't that Harry's incompetence that got everyone on the ship killed?

And resetting the timeline didn't kill everyone else, just gave them
different lives. I suppose there might be some people who won't be born
because the changes mean their parents never met, etc. but that's the
case with just about every time travel story.

Janeway greenlit Harry’s plan. And in fact, isn’t this already alternate
Harry from when Janeway’s earlier incompetence got real Harry killed?

Geordi said they’d erase in the last 15 years of his life.

Harry Kim said that the alternate timeline would cease to exist along with
everybody in it.

I am amused that you actually knew what I was talking about because Brandon
Braga wrote the story at least three different times!

Also, no one seem to care what happened to the wooden Indian’s new squeeze.
I don’t think there was any outcome that was good for her.

Just like in threshold, they had a technology that could get them home in
maybe five jumps, but they didn’t want to use it unless it can get them
home in one jump so they took it apart and put it back in the hold until
they could fix it, which they will never be able to do with it in a packing
crate in the hold.

But the plan was solid. It was Harry's fuck-up with the calculations
that caused the disaster. If he'd done the math right, it would have
worked.

But he didn't mean he'd cease to exist, just that those 15 years would
be very different, which seems to be the case since he ended up not as a
starship captain but an admiral in charge of the Federation's
Smithsonian.

Indeed, they're not using slipstream tech now on PICARD, so one assumes
they never figured it out and it's still sitting in a crate in Voyager's
hold at the Fleet Museum.

I swear to you. Two of the Enterprise crew, in space suits, walking across
the surface of the comet, in normal gravity, trying to get off before bad
things happen. The black guy says that they’d be able to move faster
without their space suits. The English guy replies that it’s too cold for
that.
