- - The go-home AEW Dynamite for Forbidden Door opened with The Hardys facing the Gunns in tag team action. Jay White andJuice Robinson helped Austin and Colton Gunn win; after the balls, Ricky Starks and FTR appeared. Then CM Punk, who cleared the ring of the heels. In a concession stand brawl. Jeff Jarrett faced Mark Briscoe. They went to the concesson stand and back to the ring, but Briscoe rolled up Jarrett for the pin. In trios action, Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara and Minoru Suzuki faced Action Andretti, Darius Martin and AR Fox. The JAS won, but then came Sting the Crow to have a confrontation with Jericho. Adam Cole cut a promo, but MJF came out to interrupt. Cole and MJF will be tag team partners (shades of WCW's Lethal Lottery/Battlebowl) and the AEW World heavyweight champion will face Hiroshi Tanahashi at Forbidden Door tomorrow. International champion Orange Cassidy and NJPW's Katsuyori Shibuta faced Zack Sabre Jr. and Daniel Garcia in another tag team match, Garcia rolled up Shibata for the pin. Kris Statlander put her TBS Women's title on the line against Taya Valkyrie. Statlander hit an Undertaker-like Tombstone Piledriver for the pin to retain. Eddie Kingston cut a promo where he said Tomohiro Ishii as his tag team partner; they will team up alongside "Hangman" Adam Page and the Young Bucks against Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoil Konosuke Takeshita and NJPW"s Shota Umino. Bryan Danielson then called out Kazuchika Okada; they will wrestler at Forbidden Door. Okada delivered a Rainmaker to Yuta. In the ratings, Dynamite drew 902,000 viewers.
- Last night on AEW Rampage, Chaos battled United Empire and Swerve Stricklandi in an eight-man tag team match. Will Ospreay won the match for United Empire by pinning Yoh after a running elbow strike to the face. MJF made his Rampage debut, MJF revealed that Cole will face Tom Lawlor at Forbidden Door. Lawlor and Royce Isaacs came from the crowd to attack Cole, bay bay. The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass Billy Gunn squashed three unnamed jobbers. The QTV gang showed up, and Harley Cameron began to sing to the delight of no one. Johnny Elite/John Morrison/Johnny Nitro/whatever attacked Daddy Ass and posed with the QTV crew. In the first quarterfinal of the women's Owen Hart Foundation Women's tournament, Skye Blue delighted the hometown Chicago crowd by defeating Anna J.A.S. In the main event, "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry faced NJPW's Douki. Perry won by submission, and then IWGP World heavyweight champion Sanada - who Perry will face at Forbidden Door - showed up for a confrontation.
