Yes, he was, and in addition he'd built up a small group of other poets. He seems to have got out of poetry at this point. He's taken down his poetry blog, alas.

I do miss him, though. I regret that the Chimp drove him away, but what can you do; Chimps gotta Chimp. I have to take some of the blame; if I hadn't spent those years trying to coexist with Team Monkey, and had dealt with them

In real life, the pandemic caused many of us to drift apart during those months of complete shut down, and some people I'm just now reconnecting with.

In preparation for pond demolition, I have lifted, carried, and moved more rocks in the past 2 weeks than I have ever carried in my life, and some of these are not small. Like 24inches across (good size for making stone paths) and though I have no idea how much they weigh, I would guess the heaviest ones are no less than 50lbs each.

I remember when My father built the pond approximate year 2000, the rocks were delivered on a palette in the driveway one day. I went to work that morning and by the time I got home, every rock had been moved and arranged to around the pond. Meaning that my father carried every single one himself, at age more than seventy or so. That was like 60 rocks, (bluestone) they mostly are flat like a chair cushion, some small like the size of a book, but many even larger than a door welcome mat.

I’ve carried about 25 book sized ones, and 10 door mat sized ones so far, and it took me 2 weeks and my fingers are so sore I can barely type now.
And there’s still about 20 more to go.
